WHAT IS AN EXCELLENT OPTICAL FIBER ACCESS TERMINAL?

Fiber access terminal (FAT) also named optic termination box (OTB), is a compact fiber operation box used for FTTH operations. Fiber termination box (FTB) is extensively used in FTTx cabling for both fiber cabling and string operation.

Fiber Access Terminal Box is a good design with strong, robust accouterments for inner and out-of-door FTTx operations. The terminal boxes give mechanical protection for fiber operating systems that include the functions of doctoring, splicing, and unresistant optical factors integration.

It's used as a termination point for the confluent string to connect with the drop string in the FTTx network system. Each Fiber distribution box has integrated strength member tie positions and bends compass protection with the addition of a removable frontal door allowing for quick and easy installation.

An excellent Fiber Access Terminal should have the following characteristics:

·Installation Wall mounting or pole mounting

·Water-evidence design for out-of-door uses, cinch handed for redundant security

·Integrated with splice mail and string operation rods

·Manage filaments in a reasonable fiber compass condition

·Easy to maintain and extend the capacity; Fiber bend compass control further than 40 mm

·Suitable for the emulsion splice or mechanical splice

·Extensively used in FTTH Access Networks, FTTH MDU and SDU inner installation, Telecommunication networks, CATV networks, Data dispatches networks, Original area networks.
