Fiber Optic box Technology

Fiber optic box is a technology that uses optical fibers, which are long glass-like flexible strands roughly the diameter of a human hair. We transmit large amounts of data by using this latest technology. The optical fibers are used to broadcast light signals and audio signals, producing distortion-free sound. In addition, Fiber Optic box is useful in medical procedures (for internal inspection of the body), automobiles, and aircraft. Principle of Fiber Optic box is based on transmission of data by means of light. Concept of Fiber Optic box was first conceived by Claude Chappe in 1790's. His idea for Fiber Optic box was based on an optical telegraph concept invented by Graham Bell also tried the means to send information by the atmosphere but did not succeed. Finally, Fiber Optic box emerged with the onset of new era based on the principle of total internal reflection which is a distinct quality of light rays. Fiber Optic box emerged and grew into more advanced phase due to requirement from radio and telephone engineers. These engineers required more bandwidth for data transmission. Thus these engineers had been looking out for a medium to transmit data in more reliable and faster form rather than copper cables. They also wanted to avoid the hazards of electric shocks and interference which were a constant problem of copper cables. Fiber Optic box were analogous in theory to plastic dielectric waveguides used in certain microwave applications so that they had got some attention. Finally a technology evolved that used glass or plastic threads to transmit data. Cables involved in Fiber Optic box contain several bundles of glass threads which are capable of transmitting data in modulated form. Fiber Optic box technology has changed this large world with its light carrying capability through a small fiber, which seems to be thicker than a human hair. The technology is offering its services in a myriad of applications in different sectors worldwide. This flow of light is touching almost everything from telecommunication in space to lighting the ocean. Fiber Optic box technology is growing for a quite long time. It's important to know what makes Fiber Optic box technology stand apart in comparison to conventional cabling systems. Semiconductor technology is vital in its dramatic implementation. It has developed necessary light sources, photo detectors and optical instruments that make it superior to conventional cable. Some of these benefits are 1. Optical fibers offer low transmission loss and wider bandwidths for transferring data in the form of light. 2. They have low weight and small dimensions. 3. They are immune to environmental electro-magnetic interferences because of their dielectric nature. 4. Since they are constructed from glass or plastic they offer complete electric isolation. This makes them secure for underwater applications. 5. Last but not least, there is an abundance of raw materials available for construction of fibers. This keeps their cost low in comparison to other cables.
